For 50 years, Safer Foundation has provided resources and services to help them get back on their feet and back to work. Our holistic approach includes job training and placement, education assistance, behavioral health services, housing and community engagement, as well as policy and advocacy work. Whether it’s getting an ID, an updated resume, a high school equivalency diploma, transitional job, permanent employment, or even obtaining industry recognized credentials.

City colleges are working with Safer to provide justice involved individuals with education, training, and linkage to employment in the career path of their choice. The goal is to obtain industry-recognized credentials and be connected to quality, in-demand job opportunities. Students will be supported by Safer Foundation expert case managers and other resources throughout the process.

Prepare For A Bright Future In Solar
Safer Foundation wants to help prepare you for a career in Solar Energy – equipping you with skills you can take anywhere. Qualified candidates will be provided with comprehensive training that prepares them to become Solar Installation Technicians. Our students will also receive a stipend, one-on-one support, job placement assistance and more.
